Hey everyone! I'm a writer of movies, plays, and TV (you might know my movies Another Cinderella Story and Radio Rebel) and I'm also a Swiftie, so I wrote a book of therapeutic journaling writing prompts called POP PROMPTS FOR SWIFTIES. Every writing prompt in the book is paired with a different song from debut, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and 1989. The idea is you listen to the song (on Spotify or wherever you listen to Taylor's music) and you really FEEL the song, really take it in. And then you let the music be your muse and read the prompt and WRITE. The book also has journaling prompts so you can write right in the book. It's all about using Taylor's music to help you access your own journey of self-discovery. The prompts are all open-ended (so you can do them again and again, different writing is going to pour out of you depending on what you're going through that day when you come back to that prompt again) and they're really versatile (so you can do them as journaling prompts or you can do them as creative writing prompts -- write your own songs, poetry, stories, scenes, anything).
This is a book that every Swiftie can use! If you want a sneak peek at some of the prompts, I've posted some of them on my tiktok @yourdailywritingprompt.
You can get the book at the link below. Let me know what you think of it!

—Retta, author of So Close to Being the Sh*t, Y'all Don't Even Know
"Every life is flush with meaningful experiences, and man is it nice to have someone help us excavate them to create. Erik's prompts pick up right where each of Taylor's songs leave off—now it's your turn!"
—Drew Seeley, actor, singer, songwriter
"Turn to any page in Pop Prompts, set your timer, and write. Settling in and writing without a plan, I mean truly letting your mind go like Erik advises, is the closest you'll come to God (whether or not you believe)."
—Andrea Askowitz, author of My Miserable, Lonely, Lesbian Pregnancy
"I loved flipping through to my fave Swift songs and getting creatively inspired by the suggestions of how to loosen up my own writing. Whether it's to explore things in your work-in-progress, kick loose stuff in your personal life, or use in a classroom as a warm-up exercise, Erik's playlist prompts help to elevate your writing game."
