Ok I'm not a fan of Taylor in anyway but I want to write this to tell people about the encounter I had with her fans!
I was in Dublin the same day as her concert was here going to a different low key event. Dublin is pretty busy when a big celebrity has a concert in town I live 2 and a half hours away from Dublin so I had to get a bus home after my show was over and Taylor's show ended around the same time. I had to walk 20 minutes to the bus stop because that's how far the venue I was in from there. There was already a few people waiting when I got there. When the bus came I walked up to it straight away as I usually do.. Normal right? Not according to these Taylor Swift fans. Instantly they started hurling abuse at me, saying I had no manners and looked at me as if they wanted to genuienly physically hurt me. Just because I walked up to a bus because they were there before me. I've been taking this bus anytime I'm down in Dublin and need to go home for over 5 and a half years and never has this happened, ever. The poor woman who was checking tickets heard me getting the abuse from these fans and was really nice to me, bless her! Halfway through the bus journey one of these fans THREW A CHIPS PACKET AT ME. And when it was over 2 young children slipped on said chip packet getting off. These fans said I had no manners for getting on a public bus that I paid for a month in advance but throwing a chips packet at a stranger and littering a vehicle they don't own is having manners? Okay then! Also there was an older woman behind me talking sh*t about me and I turned around and looked her in the eyes to see if she would say it to my face. She didn't. She looked away. I was scared into letting everyone on before me because I honestly that I was going to get mauled by these teenage straight white girls.
On the 30th of October, a few days ago, I was taking this bus again. There was no big event on so not many people were going on it. I was the first person waiting for it. More people were getting to the stop about 20/30 minutes after I was there. When the bus came, EVERYONE who got there AFTER me got on BEFORE me and yet I didn't shout abuse them, didn't talk behind their back to other people but not having the balls to look them in the eyes, didn't throw rubbish at them and didn't give them dirty looks.
I also get buses going home after work and there are plenty of people who were there after me getting on before me but I never ever have in my life did what these fans did - or even feel it. Because we're all going to get on it either way.
I haven't been to a concert in over 2 years. The last one was Beyonce and I got this same bus home as well after the concert. I was waiting for it for 10 minutes and this girl behind who just showed up when it arrived shoved me out of the way to show the ticket to the driver. And yet again I didn't do what those Taylor fans did!
I was one person vs. about 30 people and they all had a hissy fit that they were afraid they wouldn't get a seat... Are Taylor Swift fans a special kind of breed because they genuienly thought the world would stop turning if one single person got on the bus.
If you were at Taylor's Dublin concert on the 16th of June getting the Citylink bus to Galway at 11:45pm - control your anger, there are people dying, people getting on buses they paid for isn't that big of a deal. Also don't throw chip packets at strangers and litter a vehicle you don't own -- That's what not having manners mean. Lol. Shower of c*nts
