Well, at the moment, I had a filling come out 6 weeks ago (wasn't able to afford to get it fixed until Tuesday just gone)...that tooth has gone crazy and I've got massive pain under the right jawline, along the right jaw, in front of and behind the right ear, right mandible, right temple and a sharp pain that comes and go like someone's just stuck a pen in my right ear. And of course, the localised pain from the damn tooth....I can't even sleep - as soon as I lay my head down on the pillow, the pain massively intensifies. I've had 15 odd hours bad sleep over the past 4 days (and none last night). I'm dog tired...pain killers aren't touching it whatsoever and I'm talking heavy duty painkillers. And this is after being off work for 2 weeks due to some "bug"...
As I said, time off work has meant no money...things are looking really ugly for me right now. I don't even know if i"ll have a job for much longer.
It sounds like your government is looking after the people suffering from covid19. Australia is too, but, as I said, I typically fall between the cracks and miss out on any help...i'm just not a lucky person. I'm like a Jonah.
Our healthcare pays for dental care.
Our dentists have almost all stopped working because they didn't have enough protective gear, those who are left only help patients with acute problems (you would get help here!)
And yeah I know the feeling... I'm gonna be unemployed, april 1st (for the first time EVER)... This couldn't have happened at a worse time.
I'll get "unemployment benefits" but that's a lot less than what I would have gotten if was still employed (if this had happended last year).
Dave get your tooth fixed, it's gonna get worse the longer you wait!
edit: I have 2 molars left on my Right side (1 upper jaw, 1 lower). If they both get pulled, as I suspect, then it's gonna make eating much harder for me.
